@Lacy – Thanks for subscribing. We hope to have 1-2 posts a week. I am working on some tips, tricks and DIY posts that should be ready soon.

@Matt – We’re in the same boat. >.< That's why we started the site. We're just going to go everywhere we can and report back. Maybe it will help more people get started kayaking in Arkansas. There's so many beautiful spots in Arkansas.

@Mark - Thanks! Not yet, but it is on my list of things to try this year. I'd like to installed some cleats and rod holders first. Have you ever checked out http://fishyaker.com/? He also has a channel on YouTube that has some awesome DIY stuff for fishyakers.

Love the site! Might I add that if you are going to kayak on the hottest day of the year thus far, make sure at least one truck has working AC. LOL

I didn’t have any problems during the float and would recommend it if you have never been in a kayak. As Steven said, I would definitely get out at Cold Springs vs. Dam #3.
